Colour, Life and Vibrancy

I am very excited about the pending arrival of my Zulu Isicholo Hat that is coming from South Africa.

Worn traditionally by Zulu women as a ‘wedding ring’; these colourful hats organic shape make them a versatile art piece for your home.

I have had the pleasure of receiving regular newsletters from Kellie over the last couple of years, Africa and all things African is the inspiration behind the colourful and truly unique homewares and fashion range from Safari Fusion which makes me very excited as it allows me to keep in touch with all the beautiful pieces that we can enjoy in our homes.

Creator and owner of Safari Fusion, Kellie Shearwood, has drawn on many years in the luxury travel business (where she organised African luxury safaris) to bring together a superb range of bold, bright and striking pieces.

Safari Fusion’s eclectic range includes bright beaded bowls, striking feather headdresses, tribal inspired leather handbags, stylish jewellery and funky beaded animals.

“The pieces are all handmade by African artisans. So you know they are unique and not mass produced” says Kellie “This uniqueness, makes them special. I love pieces that tell a story and that have a history. They create conversation long past their purchase date”.

Every piece in the Safari Fusion range tells a story. A story about strong contemporary styling. A story about passionate artisans. And a story about colour, life and vibrancy.

Kellie – thank you for allowing me to share your beautiful collection. The entire range is available at www.safarifusion.com.au

The colour of the African earth certainly plays tribute to the many wonderful mixes that we have enjoyed over time and certainly does provide a talking piece. Try and get your hands on a ‘head rest’ – they are very unusual and I believe, extremely comfortable…

I love the wire head and wire spiral bowl!
