Going Green

As I continue through my renovating journey it’s now coming down to picking the colours for my walls.

The home is set in and amongst lush green foliage and trees, and I am a true believer of bringing the outside into our home.  As I stand in front of the hundreds of beautiful colours that are available I seem to be drawn to the green and greys of the colour spectrum.

Green occupies more space in the spectrum visible to the human eye than most colors, as well being a pervasive color in the natural world making it an ideal backdrop in interior design because we are so used to seeing it everywhere.  It soothes our souls and relaxes us mentally as well as physically, providing a sense of harmony.

You can have so much fun with the colour, it can be a feature wall, as a piece of furniture, or the splash of colour in your accessories.
