Two Golden Hours… and a flat

Two Golden Hours is a pop-up shop promising a truly unique retail and sensory experience.

It was held in the Coolum Hinterland at the stunning Yandina Station Homestead, bringing together an array of hand sourced vintage and reclaimed wares with an exclusive range of products handmade by local artisans.

There was plenty to get all visitors excited with as artisans featured their work such as Kylie Johnson from Paper Boat Press, Little Laundry, Old Yarns and much more.

Two Golden Hours is a working collaboration between sisters Kristina Powrie and Georgina Hobson who each run their own creative businesses.  Follow these girls as I highly recommend visiting the next pop-up shop when it next rolls in.  In the mean time visit their website at www.twogoldenhours.com.au

Here is what got my creative juices bursting with excitement – thanks girls for a lovely day;

However, no adventure is complete without a minor disaster – thankfully we were saved by Carey Hart aka ‘Tom’ who rescued and assisted with changing our flat tyre thanks to a rogue allen key which was coincidentally needed to take off my hub cap and was ‘missing’ from my tool kit…. hmmmm.

Of course I was too busy laughing and taking photos rather than assisting – but it looked like it was under control;

Thanks Tom – you’re the best!

    What a fun day out and I still can’t get over the irony of the Alan key. Thanks to Tom we were on our way. Looking forward to the next vintage adventure!
